They offer it free so they get you to come in so they can give you the sales pitch. The catch is you'll have to sit there for a couple hours while they try and sell you one.Comment

Yep, there is no catch. Depending on the timeshare, you sometimes have to make a certain income. The reason being - they don't want just anyone getting a free trip when they already know they aren't going to buy anything. Timeshares are pretty cool. You can trade with other people and go some neat places, etc. If you live in an area where there are a lot (like Orlando) you can get "free" stuff all the time. It just means you have to take a few hours out of your day to listen to their pitch and take the tour, etc.Comment
