I don't have the 3g version but so far it's not that slow. I used both wifi and edge today and didn't really feel that the edge network was that much slower...

So far after a few hours of use I like it lots :)

That's good to hear cause in a couple months when the 3G version comes out i'm gonna gets me one.

actually, the more I use it the easier it is to browse and type with it. And its faster than I expected even on the edge network. Who else here has the iPhone here??

I have one also, I like it alot. I use the net sometimes but the real reason I bought it was for the ring tone it has. listen to the old school phone ring. when people hear it they always ask WTF?

I will be gettin the G3 when it comes out.

I got one for Christmas and really like it.

The biggest disappointment is that you can't send & receive picture mail from phone to phone. You actually have to email it...I didn't use that excessively on my old phone, so it's not a huge deal to me....I was just surprised

Yes, I do love that about the text messages- you can see your whole conversation instead of trying to remember the content of the text

I think it's amazing that with all of those little buttons that the touch screen still recognizes the letter you're wanting!


Not sure about Google Chat...I don't use any IM services, really.

yeah, and the auto correct feature let's me more or less type at normal speed and it doesn't turn out to be jibberish :D
