Damn different thread now. Anyway, I think this is a damn big improvement from the EVO's and 135i's I was looking at a few weeks ago. I am indeed waiting until I get a job lined up Chris. I have two to choose from right now pretty much. Sure getting a beater would always be a way to save money, but I don't think financing $7K over a couple years is going to break me.
The RX8 has been damn reliable car thus far. But that is a pre-60K mile RX8. There is no telling if a high mileage RX8 will have that same reliability. The MS3 isn't exactly something I'm springing on just for performance. Hell if that was the only reason I was getting a new ride I'd be looking for an '03 Vette Z06! The MS3 seats five, gets pretty decent MPG, is reliable, should be a little less on insurance than the 8, and is only $23K! I'm not going all out for an impractical hot rod here. Plus I'm pretty sure the MS3 will hold its value nicely. I looked at some used 07s with 25K miles or so and you can't find one for less than $22K.
The one thing I do know is, if I keep the RX8 I will be spending a few $K in the next year or two maintaining it, only to be selling it for $7-8K when I want something else.Comment

The way the economy is going, gas prices raising, and the country about to enter a recession...i think buying a new car is out of the question. ON THE OTHER HAND, if you have excess money to spend, than go for the MS3
Bottom line, any used car is not that bad. I like how Chris said get an accord, nothin wrong wit that...you can also look a TL's, Mazda 3, Mazda 6, Altima's, Maxima's, etc....Comment
