I love how they portrayed beowulf though. I never really considered him in that kind of flamboyant light... it was refreshing to see that.

PS This is one of my favorite stories of all time, so I am kind of biased.

It is fairly accurate. But in the book, he is portrayed more as a champion of the people. In this movie is portrayed as a flamboyant juicehead.

i just dont see where he is a hero at all. he went and screwed the monster mother and lied about it. then after 50 years or whatever he decides to do the right thing because his town is being attacked and he feels like shit about himself. lol.

I can sympathize with him, that shit always seems to happen to me. I bang some random bus stop skank (that kinda looks like a monster) and lie to my friends about it, then the evil offspring comes back to rape and pillage my town. Sucks.
