It wasn't literal that it was every woman, just everyone I've encountered.

Latest update. I get a text from the girl I was seeing:

"I guess we should meet up sometime"

I sent something back saying it was her decision.

I get: "I wouldn't text you if I didn't want to talk to you."

Then I get something along the lines of needing closure. Really? Is it me or is this crazy?

YES, Its Crazy. All women are crazy. The sooner you just accept that and stop trying to understand, the happier you will be. I have nothing against women and I have and have had some great ones in my life, but they're all crazy.

I'm not saying guys are better, but for the most part we're much simpler and more predictable. And we do dumb things.

And as for how you handled this girl, you wanted that feeling back. the security of having one who was going to be with you long term, someone you could see in your future. It's hard when you breakup with someone that you had planned to be with forever and it takes time but I know thats why you acted a little weird with this one. I did somewhat of the same thing. It gets much better.

Chris, I've been debating on replying to your topic or not the past couple of days. I don't want to seem like a know it all (as there is a ton I don't know in life or about women either...also, each one is different) or come down on you. You can accept my thoughts or not...I'm just trying to be helpful.

You seem like a very intelligent guy who knows a lot about politics, foreign cars, etc., but some of the smartest men in the world have not known shit about women. It is great that you know where you're going and what you're looking to find and have in life...both in your career and personal life, but women do not like stuff so cut/dry and predictable.

Even once you find that special someone to live out the years, she can be aware of your goals, but you still can't be 110% predictable. You have to offer variety, be willing to say no, work to impress, and leave a little bit of a mystery about yourself.

I may get teased about this one, but there are self help books out there like..."Double Your Dating" by David DeAngelo (I think) that can help you with your approach to women and such and hell, maybe life in general. Best of luck in this life long conquest. :drunk:
