Ok so im at a bar last night with my friends down here in NYC. It's me and a whole bunch of gay guys. Laugh it up Bouncer. So anyway i'm just sitting there minding my own business when this girl comes up to me. She goes "Are you straight?" i chuckled and said yeah why do you ask? I'm not trying to sound harsh but I think you are looking at things too much through unrealistic eyes. You are hanging on every word of hers and you seem to think you know what she wants yet she doesn't even know what she wants. If you feel like you would be happier if you made some changes then of course do that, but DO NOT change with "rules" she has set as to who you should be.

She did say last night i have changed into what she's not looking for. She said if I go back to the way i used to be, which is the real me, then we can be together. So I just have to get out of this funk im in.

I don't think she's ready for you to be completely out of her life, so she wants to still be friends. Whether she really does want to get back together or not, I don't know, but it sounds to me like she wants the comfort of having you around. The two of you have become used to having each other there and it may just be difficult for her to just cut all ties and I'm sure it will be for you too.
