As did I and I was trying to put things into terms to help bouncer figure out what he wants. Trying to make a point that I was wrong or didn't know what I was talking about and ignoring the point I was trying to get across is something Rado would do. If he came to a bar and said "I don't really like a liquor much I like something more of a fruity cocktail" would you pour some orange juice and vodka in a glass? No, you would be more inclined to make a fuzzy navel.

Well hopefully he wouldn't say "cocktail" anyway - that's just queer. :P Seriously though, maybe that word is like a regional type thing, but the only people I ever hear say it is older people - and they always want something pretty stiff lol. Either way, I really was NOT trying to be argumentative.

bouncer here on sana's phone, I said insulin. As far as i know, alcohal dosent cause an insulin response.

I'm pretty sure alcohol causes insulin levels and insulin resistance to decrease, but I don't think 1 day of moderation is going to cause that much of a significant issue for you.

I was trying to find definitive info on it but everything just says alcohol consumption was associated with decreased insulin levels as well as a decline in insulin resistance.

well increased insulin levels promotes fat gain. decreased would mean that you wont be as likely to store fat.

i think we have found a use for bodybuilders and alcohol! :D
