If he did 12 full ROM I would give him props...

    The thing is...

Its certainly a thought provoking article and well written, also the concise information leave you to think and provides a good lead up to the vid.

One point, if the guy there was dictating the pace instead of her he may well have don better, have his energy was spent trying to correct his balance and she had clearly had more practice of squatting with the weight in hands.

      interesting though, well done

that you tube video is unbelievable. thats too much weight, even partials, to be pausing and talking and shit @ 20 reps. something is not right about that

Any books or websites you have used to improve your writing skills? I have been wanting to become a more proficient writer.

I thought your writing was good, and I was wanting to read more. Go back to that topic and write up a long article one day.

For me it is mostly practice, and trying my damndest to seperate myself from "everyday speak".

Thats why I keep writing these little articles, and constantly update my website with written content on the classes, personal training etc.

In the south we use a lot of repeating conjunctions and prepositions that are not needed, and is the hardest habit for me to break.

ON your suggestion, I made this article part one. I do want to expand on my opinion of the power formula and its relation to overall fitness.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, and the good conversations =-]

                I did some research.

That video of the guy benching was on a "marketing bench" that was set up at the arnold classic.

Does the weight weight look familiar in this video?

                Hardly the posted weight.....

I liked the writing and the style and wanted to read more. I don't necessarily agree with the article or your idea of fitness. I also don't agree with the presumed fitness of Nicole's opponent. Watching the video and observing the two competitors I can see the obvious muscularity of Nicole especially in her legs as for Mike the only thing I can say about him is he is not fat. When he lifts the weight he does not seem comfortable with it nor do I see any muscularity in his legs and he started shaking after only 10 reps. He clearly also has not been taught proper form for overhead squats. I don't agree with your premise. But, I do enjoy watching and reading about the crossfit fitness model thanks for posting it up here.

I watched some Coleman videos last night, and I agree that the guy at the Arnold was not lifting the posted poundage.

i wonder why they would lie about that and post the video where it is obvious.
