A knife-wielding Chinese man attacked two relatives of a coach for the U.S. Olympic men's volleyball team at a tourist site in Beijing, killing one and injuring the other on the first day of the Olympics on Saturday, team officials and state media said.

The man then committed suicide by throwing himself from the second story of the site, the 13th century Drum Tower just five miles from the main Olympics site.

Im watching womens vollyball right now USA vs. Japan. Each team has one player that is like a foot shorter than everyone else and wears a different uniform. Anyone know what that is all about?

The player with the different uniform is called a libero. He/she is primarily a defensive player, so they don't need to be tall as they almost never play at the net. They have to be very good on defense, which means they can dig and pass very well. I think once you are designated a libero, you have to retain that role throughout the match, hence the different colored uniform.

NBC is sends out texts or emails 30 min before event of your choice. Just found it and it will definitely help me out.

I tell ya, I knew about the polution in china but i didnt realize it was as bad as it is. they show the city or any of the events outside and you cant even see 100 yard in the background. new jersey is like country air compared to how bad it is there. lol.
