Not to sound presumptuous but I will enter the draft about 15 mins early to discuss things. If you have questions about a mock draft or what ever, I will help explain the majority. One thing about the mock drafts, you can see your draft position in our draft like 10 hours (not sure the exact time) before the actual draft. So you can pick that position to practice in the mock drafts.
I'm not sure when they will show the order, but it's usually like around 10 hours before. Then again I am usually drafting around 10am so it may be after midnight.
The disadvantage pretty much is just in your reserve players. In the early rounds you may end up with like a WR or QB instead of a second RB. That's not necessarily a bad thing depending on what's available. When it gets to reserve time, the highest ranking positions left are usually like kickers and defenses, so you could end up with two of one or both. It would take a lot of time and be very difficult to set up your pre-rankings so the computer will get you a team you are completely satisfied. You can always trade right after the draft (the trades won't be processed for three days though according to waivers) and pick up players that you probably would have drafted at the end anyways.
It will be randomly generated sometime soon. When you wake up in the morning it will be set and you can go to the draft room to see your position.
Also, so everyone can find it... "Enter the draft room" will be in the yellow message center box near. After you click that there will be another set of text that will say "enter draft room", click that and that will bring up a new window. That is the draft room.
