  • Ebayers...?

I see a lot of these kind of user names: 7***l, r***e

It always seems to me like they are just trying to drive the price up

yea, that does happen. peoples friends, family, etc.. bid on an item to sell it for more. you are generally good to go if the seller has tons of positive feedback.

Unless you are the one selling they block peoples names like that if you are viewing an item. I guess it's a privacy issue thing.

Or its an item a bidder may not want to advertise theyre bidding on, so the seller makes buyers more comfortable making it a private auction.

                noob lol

i know a guy who put all the shit he was selling on his webpage he created (linked to ebay). it had a stat counter that only he could see. the stat counter would alert him to when someone is viewing it a lot. once he saw lots of traffic (especially from the same person) he would start bidding on his own shit (through a relative or someshit) and create a bidding war. so basically ppl would pay top dollar for his items and think there bidding against other ppl when it was the owner. i bet there are a lot of scams out there lol

                fuck ebay

I know, but all your posts are a bunch of shit talking lately with little to now substance. It's just hard to take your posts for anything more than flaming these days.

I think that's stupid though since you can set a reserve.
