  • me and wifey trying..

been trying to have another little one for about a little over a year now.
she been though all the doctors and all that shit. everything is fine with her. which im very happy about.
now its my turn pretty much to see whats going on with my body.
blood work all ways comes out fine. except this time.
i told my doc. what was going on and what tests i wanted to start off with.
which was tsh, total test, estrogen, and total blood work.
everything is normal except my estrogen is high 157.2 pg/ml. normal would be 40.0-115.0 pg/ml.
total test is in range but low 274
    241-827ng/dl would be the range
i all ways get a copy of my blood work sent to my house. im gonna call him on monday to set up another app.
what should i expect now? what do you guys think he'll test for now? sperm count? refer a specialist? im alittle worried about this.
i feel pretty good still making gains.
havent ran anything in about 2 1/2 years even after that my tast levels were allways around 600.

low dose armidex would lower your estro levels and raise your natural test levels. that alone might be enough to fix your issue.

Im a big clomid fan.. there is published research on pubmed, where they used just 25 mgs a day of clomid to correct steroid induced hypogonadism.. I always tell guys who juice, if it were not for the clomid I would not have any kids.. It takes 72 days for your body to produce a healthy sperm.. I was tested 3 times for sperm count and always had zero unitl i went on clomid
While I dont think clomid is a cure all for everything we encounter from our actions, I do think it works very well

If he is already seeing a doctor, why not wait to see what he says. I'd withhold you past use. I know some people will advocate telling him all. But that might change his course of action IMO

                        Thanks for sharing caged.

I may well have this issue coming up, really whats important is sperm count and their activity levels. Test, Estrogen etc are related but not primary.

Clomid seems to get used most in these situations but nolvadex may also be of use, or indeed arimidex. You usually need to stimulate FSH to increase sperm count and clomid has been shown to do this, nolva a little and I don't know about arimidex or Femera and aromasim for that matter.

You will need to lay off AAS or else your just countering the good effects of Clomid etc on sperm count. Only thing you could take is GH or IGF but thats very expensive for what you get from it.

I also wouldn't touch Clen, effidrine whilst your trying to increase sperm count.

If the Above don't work in stimulating sperm count via the FSH route, another med that has been shown to work is proviron, I'm not sure of its action but it may be that it mimmicks FSH.

To be honest though the doc will have the best clue ad will I'm sure prolly say stop all aas and if nothing after 3-6 months introduce clomid.

They can also use something called HMG now which is a mix of HCG and some FSH simulating hormone, expensive stuff I believe. I wouldn't try using HCG yourself, although this can be used to stimulate fertility its quite a complicated dosing for this purpose and you better of getting it done by an expert.

Hopefully its simple for you and all I would sa is give your body the best chance you can of normalising and we all know that means quitting aas. Don't mess your system around and confuse it and things will get normal quicker

                          not really an update but..

since iv gotten my last blood work done and my test levels is on the pretty low end, its been f/ing with me mentally.
iv stopped everything, i mean every thing!
no lifting, no cooking, no good food, no nothing.
                          i feel like total shit!
i have such an attitude with the world, which make life kinda hard for the people around me ..as for friends i just rather not even talk about it.
i just need to forget about all the numbers and get with it!
thanks for reading all my b.s.:dunno:

Listen dude, you have done the right thing with your particular goal in mind.

There's no need to throw all the toys out the pram just because one item is missing from your normnal life. There'sno reason to stop training, eating right etc just because your afraid your gains won't be the same. Adapt, shorten your workouts and raise the intensity albeit with less weight, do light cardio afterwards. Give yourself a break in life, don't judge yourself on how big you are or what weight you can lift. Your heath and fertility are the goal now so eating right and excercising will all help.

A big drop in test levels from the norm may well make you feelmore mentaly fragile for a while but you will adapt. Stick with it bro your doing a really good thing
