I just saw people talking about it this morning over there. I find it disturbing that is happened but I don't really know how you censer that shit. Our freedom of expression in this country opens the door for people to do something like this. It is just sad and tragic for those left behind

Again, just based on your post you sometimes can come off really pompous and patronizing.

Listen, I understand you are really young, but you really need to learn to have empathy for people. You have no idea what that poor kid was going through to make him do that. Adolescence is one of the most difficult times in anyone's life. Just becuase you may not agree or have the capacity to understand how horrible someone thinks their life is, really doesn't warrant insensitivity.

True- suicide is extremely selfish. However, based on the poor kid's suicide note, there was very little hope from bringing him back from whatever had happened to him with all of the hate and rage that's in his letter. You weren't in his head. You didn't wake up everyday and feel completely useless and disappointed with your life, and feel you have no control in changing it.

Lastly, this has absolutely NOTHING to do with "society progressing passed this". WTF does this have to do with society??? The only thing society has to do with this kids death is the PRESSURE society creates. So, until society stops creating so much pressure, isn't it a little naive and unrealistic to say that society needs to move past it????

Maybe you should stop reading my posts then, because they are far from pompous and patronizing. Maybe you read them that way because you have conditioned yourself to feel that way about me? Not to mention, when ever you respond to a post of mine, it is condescending. The same foes for Fitnessbrat. I just think its ironic that you two talk about sensitivity, when you clearly don't give some people that same respect.

You don't know me, so you don't expect you to understand when I say i have been disappointed in myself. Or for that matter how I feel about this situation. Being a moderator at a forum, I become disgusted with these type of circumstances. Its actually the reason I am a moderator now. I have long been a vocal advocate of anonymous internet posting being a problem. People on our forum used to rip people apart for no reason. Its terrible. There was little attention paid to these type of circumstances and I really pushed the moderators, because they were all ignoring it as a problem.

Finally, society has to do with this in every way. From expectations that our society expects, to the way some people treat others. It is not the soul responsibility of society, it is also the responsibility of the individuals in society, that make up society. You can disagree with me all you want, that's fine. Just stop jumping down my throat because you think you know so much more about life than i do. Its getting old.
