Weren't you headed to your mom's one holiday, or maybe just some other occasion, but you turned around due to the crazy traffic?

thanksgiving 2 years ago. fucken 25 mile backup. said "fuck this" and turned around. lol

in my opinion todays society is way to dependant on a tom tom. fk cant anyone read a map any more?

i said the same thing. but it does things i had no clue it did. tells you what time you will arrive at your destination, how many miles you have left etc.. tell you where speed traps and speed cameras are so you know to slow down, tells you where the cheapest gas is, where there is a traffic jam or crash and sets alternate route to avoid it. say you are out of town driving somewhere and you you feel like eating some Italian food. just type it in and it will give you the highest rated Italian restaurant that are closest to your current location. also tells you the speed limit on every road. this comes in handy on some of those side roads that dont have the limit posted anywhere, it actually lights up red when you go over the speed limit.

i would say those are just a few features that a map just cant match..
