  • The GNC I work at got robbed tonight...

My buddy just called me and told me that some dude in a ski mask came in and robbed my boss and the kid she was training. He held a 9 mil. to their heads and made them lay on the floor, and told them they would get shot if they looked up. Luckily he took all the money and left, but man that is some scary shit. She is a sweet ass lady too.

I dont work there much anymore. Since my UPS job started I only work a few weekends a month. I actually work at that very store this Sunday. Scary as hell but thank god everyone was ok. I'll post the local news story when it comes up.

You never know what can happen when you work somewhere like that...

I'm feeling a joke about taking the cash and not the GNC products coming on, but I don't think it's quite appropriate right now :)

How is your buddy and boss taking the event? Has what happened fully hit them yet, has it passed?

Yeah that sucks for them I am sure they were very afraid. I was robbed at gun point long time ago. About 10 years ago I was driving home from the bar it was snowing like crazy. I was stopped at a red light and this guy was standing there and asked if I could give him a ride. Well my dumbass told him to get in. He was cool and thankful and then pulls a gun out of his coat pocket and told me to turn down this dark street. He tells me to give him all my money. My first reaction was anger I felt like driving my car full speed into a brickwall. I thought if this guy is going to kill me Im going to try to maybe take him with me. But I did what he asked and gave him like $80 or something and he got out of the car. Having a gun pointed at you from about 12 inches away is a very scary thing. Im glad noone got hurt.

yup - was forced into my sisters benz many years ago - put in the middle of 2 guys one with a gun on me at all times - if not for the police finding us i do believe i would not be here today - they thought i had money and they were going to take the car -

still have the clip that was in the paper about it -- the guy that was behind it was killed several weeks after it happened - couldnt have happened to a better person :)

I am thankful nothing like that has ever happened here.

fuck bro, I have been in several fucked up positions. im sure you agree with this its the most surreal experience... i cant really describe it... like a bad dream... your in denial. the first time it happened to me I was 16 just got my license...a couple of dudes stuck rolled up on us and stuck a revolver into my truck ordered us both out and behind a building robbed us both (money, jewlery, etc), stripped the vehicle (speakers, stereo, amp, change LOL, tire iron). i was so young i wasnt scared ... ignorance is bliss... no idea what trouble i was really in... so i learned to fight and carried a piece.

no, its a very nice place. you should take a vacation there one day. make sure to call everyone "blackie" that means "friend" in jersey slang. you will have a good time.

I guess i'll have my spring break party there :D

I asked because, when i read the book, "The Pact." They said Newark was really bad. I thought they would've cleaned it out by now.

With cops having guns to their heads, FUCK THAT MAN... I wouldn't step foot in there unless i really had to.

In 1996, TIME Magazine ranked Newark "The Most Dangerous City in the Nation."[39] By 2007, however, the city recorded a total of 99 homicides for the year, representing a significant drop from the record of 161 murders set in 1981.[40][41][42][43]

In the 2006 survey, Newark was ranked as the 22nd most dangerous city in the United States, out of 371 cities included nationwide in the 13th annual Morgan Quitno survey.[44] In the 2007 rankings, now performed by CQ Press, Newark was the 20th most dangerous city in America of 378 cities surveyed.

                              DAMN... thats good to know.

Shit man, how you guys in NJ do it? If Trenton, Camden, and Newark are dangerous cities. What part isn't dangerous?

All i worry about are DC and Baltimore. Baltimore not so much anymore because I go clubbing there, and its not bad at all.
