Moving to Southern California...

We have discussed it a few times. You guys all know how my last move went when we lived in Raleigh for a year. :rofl: For those that dont know, I almost killed myself. Jersey boy at heart.

Anyway, we have talked about southern cali for a bit and I would be lying if I said I wasn't interested. Marina Del Ray area.

So the question is, how will a jersey boy fit in out there? Been there a few times but never long enough to know the ins and outs.

Cali peeps, give me some info. I may just come and take over your fucking state!

That is a nice area! You will love the weather. I was close to there last week it was 89 and bright blue skys. Then on the other hand traffic is fucking stupid. Way to many people in the whole LA area. You seem like the kinda guy that would like to be around less people

i may seem like that and i thought it was true but it isnt. i am so used to lots of people in jersey. when we moved to raleigh for that year and there was less people, i hated it.

i just want to be able to work out and then go right to the beach like arnold used too. living the dream baby. lol

LA is a shithole, traffic is a disaster, and it cost 5x more to live than NY.

Look at it this way Bouncer, I lived in Northern Cali and didn't care much for it. Only found a few cool people to my liking. As for the city too much going on for my liking. My step-brothers went to college in southern cal and said it's taken up a few notch there. So in conclusion, I didn't like it, so I'm sure you would :)

its definitely different. the biggest difference is the landscape IMO. so used to a flat surface in jersey. seeing hills and valleys and shit is really weird when you are not used to it.
