Dude, I get what you are saying. I also understand that a trainer is a tool, not in the douchebag type, but simply someone there to support. However, I have worked with multiple trainers and I've tried working off the information I've learned here, but I've never seen this success and I really don't want to move backwards. Maybe this will be good, I'll have to learn to zone in.

The way he speaks to you is shitty, plain and simple. He has you right where he wants you. You pay him, he does what he wants, and makes sure you know that. Pure crap.

I read this thread and I think I sound like such a sucker/bitch. At the same time I can't get over the fact that he has helped me a lot and in the beginning he was training me under the table because how expensive the training sessions were.

        I honestly feel very stuck.

I don't even look at it as you being a sucker or a bitch, I "get" that you like the guy and feel he's really helped you. My "issue" is the lack of respect towards you, the "customer" and his attitude about what he will/won't do regardless of whether you like it or not. Very poor.

I think he feels like it is important for him to be able to answer his other clients questions, especially the high volume clients he has. The problem is his best client are teenagerss who are at the gym 24/7 and always have a question or story or something. I'm just like it won't kill you to ask them to shut the fuck up and leave you alone for 45 minutes, but they are his bread and butter. Even though he says it's not about the money.

Does he talk to them during your reps or between your sets?

It's easy to say that when you have a firm grasp over this. I have been struggling with this forever and I don't believe I have been that much more diligent currently than I have previously.

It's just good to be able to vent. I know I make what are commonly reffered to as bleeding vagina whinning post, but it's good to know I can vent about important stuff. ThAnks guys.

Both. It bothers me the most during the set because I want a critique of form. I know you asked that before I meant to answer I'm sorry.

Maybe as a compromise you could ask him to tell the others to wait until your set is over at least. While I find it all unacceptable, that is especially unprofessional and potentially dangerous.

Dump that guy. You need a workout partner not a trainer. I've never had a trainer but I fully understand how helpful it is to workout with someone. If I did pay a trainer I would expect them to concentrate on me for my time and politely tell their other clients that they are busy with you and they will help them when they're free.

Fuck all that, dump that guy before he injures you. Talking to people around him while you are doing your set is unacceptable period. He needs to pay attention to you and your form nothing else.
Man that just made me blow a gasket, because of irrisponsible mother fuckers like that people get injured and shit. Chris I am sorry but I don't care if that guy promises to make you the next Mr Olympia if he is not paying attention to you and continues to take your money he doesn't deserve your business.

Oh, I'm sorry is the depression of living in the midwest getting at you? You've got to be kidding me dude. That comment coming from the biggest attention whore since Paris Hilton. You bitch about Ohio, you bitch About the RX-8 you post pictures of your, albeit beautiful, wife like the whole world has to know she's yours...and you're asking me if I've had enough attention? LOL. I simply like to talk things out because...as stated it's been a very succesful method for me to come to a decision.
