Are to too hard on yourself or too easy?

If you are out of the house the parents excuse is no good any more you can decide who to you want to be. I had all those experiences and more I am not the person they said I would be.

excuse? I don't think anyone here is trying to scapegoat themselves out of a major crime because of their parents. It's a simple statement of things that have occured. How your parents treat you shapes part of the person you become.

i am the opposite of scott and chris. i was my moms pride and joy but my dad was gone.

we all have issues etc.. but you gotta move on.


in terms of the main question of the thread. its hard for me. i think i am to easy on myself but my friends and family tell me i am too hard on myself. i really dont know to be honest. lol

Excuse? I don't think we are trying to scapegoAt something we have done wrong. We are explaining why we believe we are either hard or easy on ourselves. There isn't really an excuse for a behavior. Parents are a major influence on your personality. It's a simple truth.
