Were I live there was an old abandoned insane asylum, (the tore it down now) But when I around 14 people always used to sneak in there at nite, tt felt like house on haunted hill. I have a over-active imgaination, and when I made it inside there, after about 10 min I ran the fuck out lol. That place was creepy as fuck.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postyea, im a scardy cat.
not to many people i know that would be cool with sitting in that place at night by themselves.

This is right on the money. Detroit will have to re-invent itself, and that will mean finding the right niches to cater to and attracting business with massive incentives (tax free for 20yrs, ect). Those new businesses will take years to grow to the point where they make a big enough economic impact on Detroit to turn things around. That photo essay is the perfect cautionary tale for cities that rely too heavily on any one industry; you have to diversify.

exactly, they have the mindset of "we just want it back the way it used to be". most are poor and uneducated and don't understand what is really going on. they just go by the stories told to them by the elders. they lack the education and understanding to turn the city around.Originally posted by Mr incredible View PostPublic resistence lolz, they seem to fight hard for their right to be outa work and poor round there like its in the constitution or something !:noo::noo:
