I hate my job

I was always a person that liked outdoors, I was pressured to go to college, now I have this office job that I hate with a passion. All the people are douches, and now when I went into work today they say I gotta all this crap, I am gonna be working forever now, and to top it off this bitch at work kept complaining about this job she had to do, so now I have to do that as well. I wanted to strangle my boss right there. I never have been a person that slaves away for some job because it is not worth it, and I know that a company will fire you in a second if money gets tight. I work to live, not live to work. But I am in a tough situation because I have my college bills and shit, I swear I am gonna just quit and file bankrupt. I was/ am still bullshit about all this I can't even think. The only good thing is that I had an awesome workout with all the hate flowing through me.:weights:

Figure out some way to find a good paying job that involves you being outdoors.

I think everyone goes through this. I was there 2 months ago. I hated my job. I worked 3 internships during the summer while I was in school, sat in a cubicle, at a computer doing mindless, repetitive tasks. I thought I was prepared to take a job under UV light for 12 hours a day, but it killed me. Being docile, doing mindless tasks that entry level employees do...it was terrible. If I hadn't gotten let go, I would have quit at the end of July. It was too mind numbing.

I agree with Turbo, find a job that allows you to be active and outdoors.

STFU and live with it, its life, you have a job so be thankful, over time you get better and more in demand and you'll have more say.

Sounds harsh but seriousely, I lost my office job (which I also hated at times) December last year and have been working nights since doing a security job, I can't complain but boy would I like my old job back.

We're young and don't realize the impact of it. Sometimes, it feels like there should just be more to life than the 8 - 7 grind and whatever else you are lucky enough to fit in...

Understood...haha, believe me. It just sucks to know you worked hard in school and to look into your future and just see a shitty cubicle or office the rest of your life. Its like the movie Office Space: Office Space (1999) That is how I felt all day. I guess it is something you just have to get used to.

it sucks. out of the entire graduating class from my school this past semester, only about 40% of them entered the workforce with a full-time job. a friend who graduated with a 4.0 is having a hard time finding something and is stuck at an unpaid hospital internship. be glad you have a stable, paying job.

It really sucks to work a job you dislike - making it very tough to always "appreciate" or be "grateful" you even have the job. But seriously, if you hate the job, don't stay there. If it means going back to school, or learning a new trade - IMO, it's worth it. You're too young to feel "stuck" doing something you hate.

As for the bankruptcy - I'd try and avoid that. It won't take care of your loans, and it will kill your credit for SO long.

I am applying for two jobs tomorrow. The two greatest things I ever learned in my life were, always take care of yourself first cuz no else is gonna take care of you, and never just put up with something in life, if you do not like it change it.
