My girlfriend decides to leave me to go on vaction with her friend for 4 days. I asked for to stay a night before she leaves, and she said her friend had plans to have a girls night out before they leave. I get mad b/c, truely I will miss her when shes away. She had decided to see me for a few hours and then go out with friends. I get upset b/c she was going to be away, and she choosed her friend over me. So we argued over the phone and she decided not to even show up to see me.

Was I wrong to be mad?

We have been dating for about 7 mths, and used to live with each other for the last 1.5 mths. She has little ones that took over my house so she felt like that was too much for me, and then she got her own place. Since then we only see each other 2-3 times a week.

first off, she's not leaving you. she's going on vacation and will be back. secondly, smothering the poor girl with too much attention might have pushed her away. sometimes people just need a break from people they see on a regular basis. dna and i have had this "argument" plenty of times and it's not that we don't WANT to spend time with you. it's just that we just need some time to our friends. now i feel as though that she should've still shown up to see you before the girl's night, even for a few minutes, but you can't really assume what's going on in her head. but yeah. it'll be fine. cheer up ol' chap. :)
