Everyone I talk to says 7 is much better. You sound like a computer guy. B is just one of those people that uses it to look at his pictures and surf the internets. Don't listen to him. If you like 7 you won't like Vista.Originally posted by the art of war View Postso should I even check out vista ? I am quite content w/windows 7.

no, no reason to go back to vista when you have windows 7. its a tweaked version of vista and there for its better.Originally posted by the art of war View Postso should I even check out vista ? I am quite content w/windows 7.
just saying that if you have vista sp1 on your computer now there is no reason to run and get 7.
personally i will wait for bigger changes. maybe windows 8.

you were the one that said you didnt like the interface of vista. :POriginally posted by Timma View PostTrue which is why Vista is a terrible OS. But by difference you mean just looks and interface. Background wise, Windows 7 is much more superior to Vista, but both fail in comparison to XP and the years it took them to get it 99% effective.
you wont like windows 7 either if thats the case.

By interface i am referring to usability with servers and ftp's and such. With 7 I am told you can use this stuff just like with XP.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postyou were the one that said you didnt like the interface of vista. :P

for real.Originally posted by Timma View PostLOL
vista sp1 flys on my notebook.
dual core processor, 4 gigs of ram, etc.. vista sp1 is faster on this computer then XP was on the other computer.
so if i dont need the speed increase and vista sp1 works perfect for me why jump to 7? i will keep this notebook for 3-4 years and then change over.

Oh I gotcha. The way your post sounded it's like you thought Windows 8 was coming out next year. 7 will have a couple SP's before they even begin to talk about the next OS like they have in the past.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postfor real.
