it would only have full power if you replaced everything in that 100 years. and the fact that your not even mentioning how many miles or how the car was driven over those 100 years shows you really dont know what your talking about. you think an engine with 250,000 rough miles has the same HP as the same car with 10,000 clean miles? lol. come on bro. your argument is stupid and you know it.

    false.

this is not how anything mechanical or living works.

Tell you what you go ahead and watch the top gear some more learn about cars and come back and argue with us about how a 370Z convertible is comparabel to Ferrari .
Actually I think I am done here. :)
    i didnt delete anything.

i dont need to have built an engine to know how time and wear works.

what your saying is insane "100 years and the engine still has the same HP."

nobody ever said a Z is comparable to a Ferrari. your taking things out of context. a review made a comparison to make a point. nothing more.

This is for Bouncer and blm, dynoing the car is not the correct way the meausere the ENGINE hp, you can hook the engine to a dyno and get the correct hp but not the whole car the other correct way to measure the engine hp is compression and again if the engine has full compression I don't give shit if it is 100 years old it has full power.

    Not even physically/mechnically possible. :disagree:

take any 80's or 90's or early 00's ferrari, porsche, lambo etc.. to a dyno and see if it even comes close to its claimed HP #'s.

its simply a fact that over time cars lose HP. i cant believe you don't understand this.

First I don't give a shit who he was agreeing with second read my post again I said porsches are known for burning a quart of oil every couple of months and still put out all that HP and if you want to see if your car puts out all the horses you get a compression test if it has the full compression ratios in every cylinder I don't give shit if the fucker is 100 years old it still has full power

If you wanna find out if your engine lost power or not just go to any mechanic shop let them test the compression of the engine if it still pulls out the factory numbers it means you haver lost any power.

Break in is usually the first few thousand miles not the first decade.
you should see my 1984 Ferrari. it has 1000 horse power now!!
