you said a 100 year old car will still have the same power. that is false. because along with age it will loose compression along with many other failures.

an no. as you pointed out with the lap times, the 370z would only be 10 seconds behind a Z06. take that same car back to the nurburgring 9 years later and it will not do that same time. it wouldnt rape anything. as a matter of fact, i would bet a 370z would match or beat a 9 year old Z06 if the engine has been left alone.
