Bro stop kidding yourself we are talking about 10 seconds difference here, after 3 laps you are 30 seconds behind, after 9 laps you are 1.5 minutes behind, that's is enough time to stop at the starbucks for a cup of coffee and come back.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postyes i admit that a car with much more horse power is only 10 seconds faster after 12 miles. lol.
says a lot about the 370z when it can stay that close to a car with 50 more horsepower...
I tell you what why don't you sit there and count till 90 see how long it feels in real time and then tell me that is not a long time in a race.

hint, thats a 12 mile lap dumb ass. 9 laps = 108 miles.Originally posted by wnabeabeast View PostBro stop kidding yourself we are talking about 10 seconds difference here, after 3 laps you are 30 seconds behind, after 9 laps you are 1.5 minutes behind, that's is enough time to stop at the starbucks for a cup of coffee and come back.

i would say thats pretty good to be only 1.5 minutes behind after 108 miles.
lets remember we are comparing 2 cars that arent even supposed to be in the same class.

no doubt about it.Originally posted by wnabeabeast View PostReally? it's a race bro, it doesn't matter if you lose it by 0.1 second or 10 seconds at the end you still loose. :agreed:
but lets also remember my original point.
you really think grinders 2001 Z06 can run anywhere near that lap that you posted? its been beat up, its lost horse power in those 8 years. his car would be 10-20 seconds slower that when it was new.
you can do the math...Last edited by Bouncer; 09-18-09, 05:08 PM.

Bro give it up already you are not gonna win this. it's a track race not a quarter mile. F1 races are between 260.5 kilometers and 306 kilometers which is around 160 to 190 miles and Nascar does 500 miles per race so 108 miles is ain't shit.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Posthint, thats a 12 mile lap dumb ass. 9 laps = 108 miles.

And now after all this time you gonna say these cars are not in the same class cmon bro come up with something better.:whistle

#1 dont ever bring up nascar again. fuck is wrong with you.Originally posted by wnabeabeast View PostBro give it up already you are not gonna win this. it's a track race not a quarter mile. #2 when i say "class" i mean the 370z was built to beat the Cayman and match the cayman S. its not really ever comapred to a car with 50 some more horse power.
#3 i am an F1 nut. you dont need to post the link. i watch practice, qualifying and the race all year long. my point was that the z06 has 50 more horse power and its ONLY ahead by 10 seconds after 12 miles? please..

False again! cars don't loose horse power in fact they run better after proper break in period. the new car engines are built to go 100k miles without a tune up, only time your car would feel like it lost HP is when it's have worn out clutch because it won't be able to transfer all the power from the engine but as soon as you replace the clutch your car will restore the same powerful feeling like it just came out of assembly line.:thumup:Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postno doubt about it.

#1 reasonI brought the Nascar because road races go as long as 500 miles.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Post#1 dont ever bring up nascar again. fuck is wrong with you.

#2 You are the one claiming that you can catch and beat the Z06 on a road course
# Please back at you it's 10 seconds in 1 lap, you claimed that 370Z has a better suspension so it should off set that 50 hp difference:thumup:
