thats where you are wrong. i never said a 370z could catch and beat the Z06. i said the difference of only 10 seconds after 12 miles is pretty sad considering the z06 has 50 more horse power.

in every other aspect the Z is superior. its just a better designed car. that's why there is only a 12 second difference after 12 miles. if the Z06 was a better made better designed car it would make much better use of that 50hp difference.

i am willing to bet that the nismo would beat the Z06 even though the z06 has a 30hp advantage.

since you like posting links so much how about you go to google and search for cars losing horse power...

and false, you will see the z06 almost the whole time. it would very slowly pull away during the race due to the horse power. if what you say is true, the z06 is a piece of shit because it pulls away at the very beginning and then it cant pull away anymore to make a bigger gap. lol

no, that 50 extra horse power is the only difference. that is enough reason for the 10 second lead.

and if you want to call in the zr1 lets call in the GT-R not the nismo. really it says alot about 370 that you are comparing it to a Z06. you should be comparing it to a basic vette. the nismo to the z06, and the GT-R to the ZR1. but you wont get any argument from me on either of those cars. both are fucken bad to the bone. i would probably take the Zr1.

Corvette comes with mobil 1 and chevy recomends mobil 1 so assuming that previous owner used mobil 1 since day 1 that cars internal engine parts should still look new and it should produce the rated peak HP.
Now FYI assumng that engine is in grate shape what makes the car to show less HP on a dyno is one or all of the reasons below.

Dirty air filter, dirty fuel filter, old exhaust system, bad or faulty MAF sensors, bad or faulty O2 sensors, worn clutch and many other reasons that I can't think of top my head.

your talking about replacing shit. im talking about grinders engine as it stands now. it couldnt do the lap time around the nurburgring that you posted.
