just look at places like the Galapagos Islands. creatures that have evolved specifically to that island. birds that cant fly, fish that can walk across land, etc..

      Precisely.

The Beak of the Finch is a FANTASTIC book. It won the Pulitzer if I remember right. It describes the evolution of finches on the Galapagos and how their beaks evolved in fascinating ways depending on the kind of terrain, food, etc. that they encountered. The protagonists are a pair of evolutionary biologists who have spent almost their entire careers on the Galapagos Islands, studying finches.

I believe in evolution. There is more than enough reasoning and enough evidence for that.

You mis-understood me. There is not enough evidence to show to that the world began as one hot mess, and the reactions caused the Earth to change drastically.

Actually there is, if you are talking about the big bang. See my posting above.

Ah, I read more carefully. You are referring to the origin of life. I agree, there is no definite proof of how it began, just many hypotheses. The Miller-Urey experiment to which you refer is a key one, showing that basic elements can, under the right conditions, combine to form complex molecules like amino acids. There are also a lot of organic molecules floating around in space that could potentially have seeded life on this planet.

I tend to use Occam's Razor in cases like this. The simplest explanations are usually the most likely ones.

Ya thats right, the Origin of Life. That honestly didn't make sense. The whole time i was thinking, how is this possible? haha...

The Urey experiment is very interesting and got my mind going. I want to re-create that same experiment. Its bizarre that molecules of that are an extreme essence in life can be made under your own eyes.

I love that type of stuff man. LOVE IT!!!
