So, I don't know how far they are going to stretch on this, but late last night on CNN AC 360 stated there is now new information. Not only was this guy under investigation, he was under investigation for quite some time- up until December 2008 by the FBI. He was communicating w/ a radical Muslim cleric in Yemen. The FBI stopped watching him however, because they believed Hasan was only speaking to this cleric for research purposes only??? Meaning, Hasan was trying to I guess figure out how to help his patients?? I dunno- sounds very odd. There is also evidence that he attended the same mosque in Washington DC- though they don't think at the same time- as 2 9/11 hijackers...
DNA- while I wish there was a better way to investigate terrorism, I don't know what else government can do to investigate. Because many are of Middle Eastern decent, it makes it difficult for it not to feel like racial profiling when they are investigating. Terrorism can be one person, as it appears to be in this case; or it can be a large group. There are so many variations, and cells, I would think they have to investigate it all aggressively.

"U.S. military officials said intelligence agencies intercepted communications between Hasan and Anwar al-Awlaki, a former imam at the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, Virginia, a Washington suburb. Al-Awlaki, who left the United States in 2002 and is believed to be living in Yemen, was the subject of several federal investigations dating back to the late 1990s, but was never charged.
Military officials told CNN on Monday that intelligence agencies intercepted communications from Hasan to al-Awlaki and shared them with other U.S. government agencies. But federal authorities dropped the inquiry into Hasan's communications after deciding that the messages warranted no further action, one of the officials said.
According to the FBI, investigators from one of its Joint Terrorism Task Forces determined "that the content of those communications was consistent with research being conducted by Maj. Hasan in his position as a psychiatrist at the Walter Reed Medical Center [in Washington]."

it's actually what is said during prayer when you change positions. it has nothing to do with terrorist attacks or battle cries. it's kinda like saying "hallelujah".Originally posted by redsquirrel View PostActually, 'Allah Akbar', or "God is great", is an Islamic terrorist battle cry.
