I am telling you the manual will perform much better on the track. Just know when to shift down, and go into turns with a certain momentum and speed, and resulting opposite frictional force will guide the car into a turn with the initial speed when you entered it.
There is a lot of physics behind entering turns with a certain speed, and AWD handle the best. You cannot fuck it up because when inside the turn you can accelerate and end up blasting out of a turn much faster than a RWD for FWD.
I hope you're driving with your assists off in the track.
