the RS6 weighs 900lbs more. it has nothing near 50/50 weight distribution like the Z. it dosent have the suspension the Z has, it dosent have the springs the Z has. its only advantage is HP. and that does not make up for its massive weight over the z. one is a track car and one is a fast highway cruiser.

I would have shift paddles in exotic cars and cars over 500hp. The 370Z doesn't fit in any of those categories.

I am telling you the manual will perform much better on the track. Just know when to shift down, and go into turns with a certain momentum and speed, and resulting opposite frictional force will guide the car into a turn with the initial speed when you entered it.

There is a lot of physics behind entering turns with a certain speed, and AWD handle the best. You cannot fuck it up because when inside the turn you can accelerate and end up blasting out of a turn much faster than a RWD for FWD.

I hope you're driving with your assists off in the track.

when you have a car that powerful, you're jeopardizing loss of power and momentum when you have to shift. The car doesn't stay in its "powerband" and your wheel horsepower will fluctuate and not be stable.

Also, with that much power, you risk of blowing your clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, and probably your transmission when you fly through the gears.

Get a manual miata, and own the track. Study it, and master every aspect of it.
Then I give you permission to move up and eventually to an AWD car

i want nothing to do with an old fashioned stick. i get used to paddle shifters in 370 and then i move up to ferrari.

and the only thing all wheel drive is good for is making shit drivers look good because they cant control the car...

you saw the video of jeremy driving the EVO. its basicaly a 4 wheel drive computer. you need very liitle driving skill to drive that. its like auto pilot.

you have to be a much better driver to get a 370z around the track at its max then you do a computer with wheel (evo)
