    Who has the fat PS3?

There is some sort of massive fuck up going on with the old fat PS3, I thought it was just me, and it is going on all over the world. Seems like the beginning to a terrible movie.

I just tried to get on, PSN kept signing me out, tried to play Demon's Souls, it kept booting me and telling me it couldn't sync my trophies, DS isn't listed in my trophies anymore, and if my save game doesn't work it will be terrible.

A demo would load, but tons of people are having the same problem with all types of games, people that weren't even on the network at the magical time this occurred.

"Registration of the Trophy information could not be completed" HELP - Heavy Rain Message Board for PlayStation 3 - GameFAQs

From that board on the most recent page...."it is a psn thing, it triggered anti piracy defenses on everyone's ps3 because of some date error with the psn network. its working on being fixe.d"

That is where I was keeping up on it, the thread gains 2-3 pages every time I go and check.

Everyone is freaking out that they can't play games offline.

PS3s Suffering From Global Network Lockdown - PS3 - Kotaku

"While theories abound that this has something to do with the calendar (some users are reporting their date/time settings have been reset), bear in mind Sony has redesigned its PlayStation website over the weekend, so it's likely the result of some tinkering under the hood for the PlayStation Network."

I think most video games I have played online since UT have had server announcements, and the fact that I can't play a fucking game offline is the real kicker.

has nothing to do with fat ps3's or slim ps3's. just the psn network. just the xbox live, it occasionally goes down for a bit..

calm down geek, give it a day or 2. lol

You don't understand that game, I finally made it to the boss, and now....................all fucked.

That game is badass, reminds me of old games, you die means you start back at the fucking beginning, and you can only take about 2-3 hits.

Also, this used fat PS3 is out, I am bidding on a slim now, no store around me has them, Amazon states shipping will be 1-2 months, I gotta get ready to rage with all of you.

If anyone sees a slim in a local store, purchase it for me.

Sony issued a statement via Twitter:

Sony tweeted: “We’re aware that many of you are having problems connecting to PSN, and yes, we’re looking into it. Stay tuned for updates.”
