Ya i have been watching it on and off for the last couple of years but never been a regular watcher. I saw the make your car into a boat episode that was great. I heard somewhere , think it was here, that its the highest rated show in the world.

Sure over here you get people who are anti gay and would be violent towards gays but you would never find a whole town or community that would all be "anti gay"

Name one town or community in australia that is "anti gay". Sure their are individuals who hate gays but it is not based on where you come from or what town you live in. Discrimination is a whole different argument. Discrimination against aboriginals is no different to discrimination against any other race of people. These days if you are aboriginal you collect a goverment pension, i think it works out to be about $300 a week. Thats just for being aboriginal. I think the days of discrimination against aboriginals are long gone.

i think if you "hate" something or someone just because of their lifestyle you are not focusing enough on you and your life. gay people have no effect on me. i have myself and what i am doing to worry about. why would i "hate" someone that has done nothing to me?

its one of those type deals of people knowing not what they speak. same thing as a racist. you can call someone a nigger all your life. but the second you are dropped into the middle of iraq as a soldier surrounded by the enemy and the only other American soldier there is a black guy you will soon realize how suddenly he is your best friend in the world. the minute he jumps in front of a bullet or pushes you out of the way to safety you will realize that you love him like a brother... the same one you went through life calling a nigger.. the same goes for any other race or group of people that you think you "hate".

that kind of hate comes from someone that has so many freedoms and privileges that their perception of reality has become lost..
