and realize how much extra energy it takes to carry around our muscle? I was running outside today and ran by a 40-some year old runnig who was probably 5-9 135-145lbs. He made running look so damn easy

Not saying I want to be that small at all. I was inferring to the fact that if he and I ran the same distance, I would expend so much more energy carrying my frame

running is such a bitch, I don't mind the 3-4.5 mph zone, but when I actually have to run, fucking hate it. And im in store for a lot of it lol.

It gets easier quickly if you have been doing it consistently. Before I started training for the tri, I was doing 35 minutes at 4.3 and a 7 degree incline. I started early February with intervals of 2 minutes at 4mph and 1 minue at 7. I bumped off 3 miles today, outside, in just under 23 minutes. And I have kept my 195lbs steady throughout

i am not impressed by a 135lb person that has stamina.

what does impress me is when you got guys in the NFL that are 240lbs solid muscle and they can run like a 135lb person.

They can. But they simply expend exponetially more energy. It will be tougher for them to keep it up as long as someone who is smaller. I prefer to be bigger and not able to keep up, but still it is interesting to think about

I lost tons of muscle training and after awhile I wanted to loose more. everthing got easyer the more muscle I lost.
