      The wiring harness from Crutchfield patches in to the factory harness so you don't have to cut anything, just match colors and snap together. They do the same thing for speakers if you buy from them.
      the one i converter my dad bought snaps into the factory and the rest of the wires just had to be matched up and twisted together. the stereo made my stock speakers sound amazing. best (and only) mod to my car. :P

              i don't know. one wire goes in one end and the other wire goes in the other end. then you take pliers and your squeeze the ends tight so the wires are secure and touching on the inside. my dad told me to use them. i can put shit together but i can't put a name to things.

                Crimp connectors, those are the right kind for auto use.
