Contador's ability to put the hammer down in the middle of a climb is crazy. He was just trying to gain a little time yesterday, he will absolutely murder Schleck in the TT.

I am pulling for Schleck, but he is going to need a 2-3 min lead going in to the TT stage, which I don't see happening.

Schleck was about to put Contador in the drop zone and then.............his damn chain fell off.

Contador is in yellow now, and I don't see it changing unless something crazy happens.

they were booing him because the unwritten rules say you don't take the yellow jersey through a mishap by the leader. Bullshit rule. Killer instinct says you take it by the throat

You just don't do that. It's the way it has been for years and years. There's still sportsmanship in some sports. Armstrong has both benefited from the rule as well as been the person waiting, so it cuts both ways. Contador's move was totally bush league - he may be a great rider but he lost a lot of fans yesterday including me.

I was never a fan of his, but at the end of the day it is a bike RACE, he made a choice and he has to deal with it, I personally would have waited, as would the majority of the top riders. Most wouldn't want to get the yellow jersey that way, but it is a race, he was scared at the moment, Schleck was about to drop his ass.

Amazing. 35 miles left in today's stage. I missed the TTT yesterday.

The scenery is beautiful and they do a good job of showing the interesting buildings/bridges etc...

Damn, I am on the road and missing it although I am getting my fill of breathtaking scenery in S. Oregon and N. California. Should be back home tomorrow though.
