new jersey cant suspend his license because he lives in NY state. its up to NY state on what to do.Originally posted by radousually regular speeding(not over 20mph or so)or traffic signals, etc...tickets need no court date unless you want one....if you don't pay the fine, they suspend your DL 1st....I'm sure every state has it's different rules.

yea slight variation. I haven't seen the pay the ticket online option. That would be nice. Luckly i got pulled over once for a ticket. Others have been warnings. Shit loads of them too. Love it when cops yell at me for stupid shit i do. I just smile and be respectful yet calm. They realize they're being a dick and than change and treat me with respect and say be careful, lolOriginally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postnot here. you dont get sent a court date after the fact. right on the back of the ticket when you get pulled over is a place where they write the court date. you can either go to court or just pay the ticket online etc..

I had called them this morning and said what was going on. I asked if I could just pay online and they said no I have to send the fine in the mail attention a certain person.
Rado the form said warrant out for me in their state, i have to show up pay the bail blah blah. i said i'm not driving 3 hours to pay if I can pay by mail or such. They said send it in the mail.

I got a ticket in CA just before moving to OK in 2004. Got a new license there. While living in OK, my dad got a letter (I lived with him in CA) and it said I had a warrant and need to pay the ticket. Forgot about it and moved to PA. Got a new license and have had it renewed also since being in PA. Got pulled over for pushing through a yellow light that turned red while I was in the intersection a month or two ago. Got a warning and that's it. All that came of my ticket in CA was a collection for the ticket fee, which I never did pay and it's dropped off my credit report now.
