I personally wouldn't give my dogs dairy at all, but if you insist on adding whey for extra protein, I would at least use nonfat plain yogurt instead of milk. Yogurt is a little easier on their digestive system than milk.

Why not just a can of tuna fish?

why not a high quality dog food that DOES have the proper nutrition and protein levels.

spend a little more money on the food and do your research and you will be rewarded with a healthy and happy dog.

if you think eukanuba or purina is a good brand you should shoot yourself.

I think I remember multiple users on this board mentioned that they also use Kirkland Brand Dog Food from Costco? I've been using this for a few months for my guys. Very affordable and a very good ingredient profile. They won't be missing out on much nutrtition from a high quality dog food.

(Tip: Stick with the Kirkland Chicken Dog Food. The Lamb stinks a bit.)
