I have one similar to this TITLE Gel Heavy Bag | TITLE Gel Heavy Bags | Boxing Heavy Bags & Heavy Bag Stands | Punching Bags & Punching Bag Stands from Title Boxing
thats a pretty good price but if you are not in a rush I can probably get you one cheaper. I am opening a store front and they are gonna be one of my vedors. but either way that is already a good price.
Not sure if you need the extra protection but if you are a big guy and like to throw hard I would suggest it along with hand wraps and "good" bag gloves. I will be able to get you all that in time.
Nothing major just looking for some variety in my training and cardio.
trust me you dont wanna skimp on the gloves. they are gonna protect your hands. here are gloves make sure you at least get 16oz Fairtex Nation Gloves
here are hand wraps very very important also. Fairtex Cotton Hand Wraps
I can probably get these for you also cheaper. they will be another vendor of mine.
you will love hitting the bag for cardio. and you will soon see how little you have, lol.
Deca I don't mean to hijack, but I'm going to a little bit. Rocket, I have a quick question for you. I've got a 70 or 80 pound Everlast bag from when I was a teenager. (Its in great shape because I never used it up until a few months ago.) It has been great cardio and I'm changing up the workouts and using it for interval cardio as well. I'm running into an issue with it hanging too low. Currently I have a bag stand because the ceiling in my garage cant handle the weight. (No room in the rest of the house either) I end up hitting at about chest level to get the meaty part of the bag. I'm not planning on competing as a boxer any time soon, but I also like doing things correctly. Is this not really a big deal or should I look at investing in a stand that holds the bag a little higher? Thanks man.

I understand your not gonna fight but since you are training might as well do it right. I would just shorten the chain so the bag is higher. You are gonna loose fourm or develope a good body shot if you keep it low like that most likley fourm will suffer, lol.
I used the clips you use to attach pulldown bars, ropes, ect to cabels and shortened the chain on my Thai bag try that.

i was looking for gloves and other shit for sparing. do you recommend the other equipment they (fairtex) offer - trainging pads, protective gear...?
I have a couple pairs of gloves my favorites are the one with the little 8 oz bar inside so you can grip. I have some other with the wrist wraps but I don't like as much as the others. i love my bag abuse it regularly lol
