It is tough to say. Alot will depend on the skill of the judges/lawyers. Meaning if they can see through BS, and know how to do their jobs correctly.

If you go in talking about bias towards the defendant, and his lawyer is too much of a moron to understand, then you may still get picked.

HAving school is another way to get out of it.

Other than that, there is no sure way to avoid it. Being loud and annoying while there may just work
Perfect, Bouncers only job is playing GT5. :)

That'll work for the most part. The lawyers I interned for did commerical litigation, so it is different from criminal or litigation between individuals. But when they chose a jury, they tried to keep people on who were heavily opinionated against the other side, get rid of those who were heavily against their side, and keep people they felt were easily manipulated. The other side basically did the same.

Lawyers hate stubborn jurors who are against them for no matter what, they can't win.

Can you imagine trying to convict someone who killed a doctor who performs abortion with a right wing nut on the jury?

Or trying to sentence someone to death with a hippie, left winged, liberal?

Or convict someone of possession of test with anyone from this board on the jury

perfect. you have been useful to me for once! :D

my game plan is not to over act but to be stubborn and none cooperative in a subtle way.

i want to make it clear to them that i will be difficult to deal with without making it clear that i am just acting this way to get out of it.

Just be careful about being obstinate with the judge. In the court, they are king. They can throw you in jail if they are having a bad day.

Beatty Chadwick, Lawyer Freed After Longest Term for Contempt - ABC News

At the time, the court professed its skepticism of Chadwick's claim of pauperage and ordered him to produce his money. He claimed the money had been lost and he was sent to jail.

I think Rado killed himself over the holidays. Got a call from him at like 9pm a day or so before Christmas, as usual when he calls I didnt pick up. Haven't seen him around since.

                              To bad.
