      I originally joined Facebook because I went to high school in Europe, and now all my old friends are all over the world. It has definitely lost it's excitement, though. And I've found I really don't care about most of those people anyway, lol.

      However, I do have a teenage daughter to keep tabs on - so I won't cancel it.

                        It's good in the aspect of reminding you how easily people can create a complete world of make believe and easily pull people into it. It's not riveting by any means but it is worth watching, imo.

                          That's pretty much how I have always seen it. It's a way for people to put on more of a facade than they already do. Only show people what they want about themselves and hide the rest. The people that know more don't think much of it since everyone does it and the people that are just facebook friends, just go about assuming that the person shown on facebook is the same person in real life.
