Maybe you assholes can help me out - Leather Sofa question

So before we move to our new place in south jersey we want to buy new sofa and a love seat because what we got now smells like dogs, shit, and ass.

Made the mistake of buying fabric sofas with 2 big dogs and my stinky ass they just stink to high hell no matter how much we clean them, they absorb the stink.

Here is my question, what the fuck is bonded leather and is it crappy compared to regular leather?

Went to the furniture place and they have bonded and regular sofas and the bonded is on average $200-$300 cheaper.

Two things I have learned over the years... never buy fabric covered furniture and never do carpets. It's leather furniture and hardwoods floor all the way in my house.

bonded leather is leather made of small scraps of leather, as opposed to whole skins...basically it's bits and pieces of leather mixed with other materials...just get the reald deal bro...and why get it now?? wait till you move and then get it...makes no sense in buying it now, moving and such...

Just make sure that they have the couch you want in stock. Most of the time furniture stores will have he floor model and once you pick what you want they will make it for you. And that takes anywhere from four to six weeks.
