Dude, will you quit it with the elitist house bullshit? Some of us live in condos because we want to. I can write a personal check from my checking account and buy your house outright today if I wanted to. The way you carry on, it's like you are the only one here who can afford a house and the rest of us live in cardboard boxes ... Lol...

rado you act like we dont have money or cant afford other things but spend all our money on tech shit. you very well know me and sana own a house in a different state and rent our apartment where we live. owning a house in the area that i live in is not a smart move. you pay out the ass for an average place at best and you get raped on property tax.

Not really to be honest. Total for all that stuff is like $3500 and I didnt buy it all at once. Speakers I bought like 8 months before the TV, bought the new receiver like 6 months after that etc.. So $3500 divided by 3-4 separate purchases etc..

Get ready to be jealous!
3 year old 50 inch Samsung 1080p DLP

Panosonic out of the box surround sound, oh yeah. No HDMI input... It has shitty wireless rear speakers that interfere with everything. Even better is the fact that my wife just moved them out of the living room one day because she said they don't match. WTF! I got her back by putting a "honk if you want to see my titties" sticker on her car. That will teach her!
Good Thread... I am actually looking for a receiver now.

Thanks. All the research I did said to put money into high-quality speakers, as they will still be fantastic speakers long after the rest of the system is obsolete. I actually listen to more music than I used to since I bought this system, it just sounds so damn good through my speakers.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View PostNice speakers homey.

Still like that receiver?
I like the setup you have B, I am thinking of starting an average set.

I'm pretty sure I have the same TV but I have the 3D one. I was going to get the 80" but the kids wanted the 3D and the 80" didn't come in 3D.Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostHere's mine:

got rid of the center channel and surrounds and just have a 2.1 system. 2 powerful speakers and a good sub and you would be surprised at how amazing it sounds during movies an music. looks a lot clear too.Originally posted by Turbo3000 View PostStill like that receiver?
