Jim and I talked online almost every day for a while there and was always kind and courteous to me. He stood up for me on the boards when other members were being rude and always complimented me any way he could. He was a nice guy and a giver, not a taker. Those are virtues which are very valuable to me....I'm gonna miss him :(

That is so sad...
I hope that this young man's death isn't in vain: anyone who is using strong painkillers should learn from this. RESPECT them, they are DANGEROUS DRUGS! If you suspect, even a little bit, that you might be dependent on them...for God's sake, please get help. We lose to many people in the prime of their lives!

This is BigSoda's girlfriend. I hope I'm not breaking any rules or anything. Anyway, I've always wondered why he sits at this computer 24/7, but now I know. You all have a common bond, and genuinely care for one another. Almost like a family. My boyfriend and I were very nervous when we had not heard from Jim and it hurts to find out that he has passed. He was 22 years old and was to graduate this spring with a major in Psychology. He had so much more life to live ahead of him. We had the pleasure to spend a weekend w/ him and our home and it felt as if we had known him our entire lives. He truly was a "gentle giant". He will be greatly missed. I hope that each and every one of you on this board live a safe and happy life. I'm glad to know that my boyfriend has people other than me to care for him. Thank you.
