Cool! Organic Chemistry was one of my favorite subjects in high school. I really thought I was going to go to med school, but I read a book on Boolean Algebra in the summer break before 12 th grade and I was hooked - decided to study electrical engineering instead.

Done with "Why Evolution is True." Great book.

Just started "Wonderful Life: The Burgess Shale and the Nature of History" by Stephen Jay Gould.

Some light reading I started on the plane to and from my recent vacation: Slash's autobio.

GnR was my favorite band back in the day, and I've enjoyed reading about their struggles in the early going. Just getting to the part where they make it big now.

I always wondered who actually read books about rock bands. Figures. Canadians. Lol

Finally finished Pillars of the Earth (damn that thing as long!). Okay book, not the epic novel I expected from everyone else's reviews.

Now I'm reading The Help by Kathryn Stockett.

I just finished the Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. I normally like fantasy stuff for pleasure because I spent so many years reading for school but the Ancient Aliens series has me a little interested in reading some books about that.....

Finished "Wonderful Life" by Stephen Jay Gould.

Now working on "The Elegant Universe" by Brian Greene. Great book. I am reading it to get a better layman's understanding of string theory, but I have never seen a better non-technical description of special and general relativity. Fantastic!

string theory is way to bring together quantum mechanics and general relativity to come up with a theory of everything.

no need to read the book, just ask me if you have simple question next time. :hibb:
