Is this a good deal on a notebook computer?

Yeah, lol @ desktops. Unless one is some hardcore gamer freak or is doing magnetohydrodynamics research calculations and needs a high-end machine. Otherwise, just get a laptop dock and hook it up to a mouse/kbd/monitor and you have the best of both worlds.

Na, screw mouse and monitor, what's the point of lap top if you need to connect all that shit. Mouse and monitor on laptop is all I need

Well, if I must sit at a desk, I'd much rather type on a real keyboard instead of the laptop keyboard, plus you can get a nice 21 or 22 inch monitor for peanuts these days. Dock makes it pretty seamless. You'll know if you worked in an office setting.. :)

if you want a pc for movies and HD stuff dont get a laptop why watch something on a 13-17" screen when you can watch it on a 50+" screen.

yea i been playing with Sana's Macbook Air that came the other day. very nice, light as hell, and pretty snappy in terms of loading programs etc..

i can understand why people like it, i like it myself, but at the end of the day i am a windows guy.

Bit pissed off with Lenovo. Ordered the damn thing last Wed, they said it would ship on the 15th. Now its saying will ship on the 21st. WTF? Should I cancel the order?

you right, i just hate waiting. i am used to ordering from amazon where the shit gets sent out same day you order.

i guess with lenovo and dell they dont build the computer until you order it.
