My five year old iMac that is running the first gen of core duo is still rocking, it can do everything you want a computer to do. Converting videos isn't the quickest, but it is fine for my main uses. People are so caught up in this specs game, phones with quad cores....blah blah blah. How stupid.

Yeah, lol @ desktops. Unless one is some hardcore gamer freak or is doing magnetohydrodynamics research calculations and needs a high-end machine. Otherwise, just get a laptop dock and hook it up to a mouse/kbd/monitor and you have the best of both worlds.
