Someone tell me how pressing 2 keys on a keyboard is any fast then pressing a single icon?

You don't have to get your hands off your keyboard to do stuff. Like right now... I am typing on Firefox. I need to open my Outlook to check my work email? No problam - alt-spacebar O gets outlook going. Word? Excel? No problem.. I try to stay away from the mouse as much as possible.

Yep, app launchers are great. Very functional, especially for those who are on the computer a lot.
