No meds. It's been going on for about 10 years. It's just started getting worse this last year.

10 years, wow. :( I think it's time to see a neurologist. I can't stand medication either, but if it's affecting your sleep that much, that in itself has to be affecting other things.

Have you ever had a back injury? Or nerve or anything?

blm, your opposition to meds in this case may be a stupid move.

meds are overused in america and the world, i agree. but in some cases they are exactly what the doc ordered so to speak.

                    Lol, you're damn typing.

I stretch religiously. I'd be a knotted mess otherwise.

so whats the word? you been doing the super hot water showers, forces you to relax really well.

listen to what beast said too. you cannot go to bed tense or stressed. you really have to force yourself to calm down and relax.

Did you try acupuncture? It actually is pretty helpful for thing like that.

I don't post much, but figured I would relay what knowledge I have on the subject as I know its probably driving you nuts. I have found that while you can follow a naturopathic route with some success a big issue that can compound the problem and make it worse is simply that your not getting rest, even when you think you are, which leads to anxiety and stress, which compounds your RLS, and on it goes.

It could be why it is getting progressively worse. The best way to break this cycle, again only in my experience, is prescription medication. You may want to think about seeing your doc, getting evaluated and looking into this routte. It will be something that will allow you to get into a deep sleep. The last sleep study I was privy too, he woke up 64 times an hour on average out of REM sleep. And he just thought he was having anxiety issues. Got him to sleep solid and the other shit cleared right up. There are many prescription alternatives out there, such as Ambien and Hydroxyzine-neither of which are addictive by nature and will allow solid sleep. Or if you need something stronger for anxiety related to your sleep you could try Ativan or Xanax, which will also allow solid sleep. Either way bro, you gotta get your body some rest, and if you gotta take a pill to do it for a bit seems a small price to pay. Back to my lane.
