      • Hey B, I'm thinking of dropping by at the AT&T store and checking out the HTC. How do you transfer music and podcasts and movies and stuff on to it, like itunes for Apple? Does the phone come with PC software or can you download it?

          • Cool! Also looks like I can install HTC Sync Manager so that I can sync my contacts, appointment and other stuff as well as any mp3s, mp4s etc that I have on my laptop. Cool! Looking forward to it. Price dropped to $99 and someone I know at work said I don't need to update my plan, so I am interested if that is the case.

NO, dont use the HTC stuff or the att stuff. use google play to do it all.

thats the issue with android, there are 3 ways to skin a cat for everything you do. people get confused.

For $99 go for it. You shouldn't have to change your plan, and you will most likely only miss imessage if you happen to use it heavily.

I think I have an upgrade coming up, might jump on the this deal also.

                • You need to add a 4g lte plan.

                  • I have a family plan. My wife has a 4S that she just got. My line is out of contract, so I can upgrade. I hope I don't have to change our plan. I'll find out. I don't care if 4G doesn't work, we don't have 4G service here anyway right now.

HTC One X 2 should be out in a couple months, I would wait if you have a working phone. Too many nice phones will be released before Christmas to jump on one now.
