Now is a great time. I sold all my toys (cars ect) and bought a house I could never afford. 4000 sq feet in a private comunity. this house was 1million bucks when it was at its peak 5-6 years ago. I got it 600K completly done hard wood floors pimp cabnits ect. they even threw in 8K worth of plantation shutter for my windows. but i bought when houses were forclosing left and right no one was buying. now they are all gone in here not 1 forclouser out of the 80 or so houses.

go big now if that is what you want Mr I. prices are already going back up (in some places)

actually me. i dont like really big houses. they dont feel homey or comfortable to me.

my dream house would be something like a 2500 sqft ranch style house over looking the water on a high cliff in northern California. for me it would be more about have a house that i can feel comfortable in an amazing location.
