one thing i have noticed about the weather out here. it gets just as hot in terms of temp but the humidity is not as bad. there always seems to be a breeze here also. maybe its the lake causing the wind to push the humidity down? not sure. in jersey there are hot and humid days with no breeze at all.

My 7 year old took this photo of an Amur tiger at Bronx Zoo with my camera. He can barely hold the camera with the 70-300 lens on, I am surprised he could hold it steady enough to get the shot.

Another good capture by my son. Thinking of buying him his own ultrazoom camera - not as complicated as an SLR, but pretty capable and a whole lot less expensive.
